This is different from my other paintings in that I had this vision during a meditation and then set out to recreate it. My other paintings are without agenda, they just happen.
I saw a beautiful butterfly. The body of the butterfly opened up like a doorway. Bright white light started pouring out. A spiritual being started to emerge from the light. I could see his main chakras. This painting represents spiritual growth and beauty.
Update: 1.30.13 I woke up today realizing I painted this for someone in particular. I am presenting it to her today.
