This is different from the majority of my other paintings - in that I had this vision during a meditation and then set out to recreate it. My other paintings are without agenda, they just happen.
I saw a beautiful hill full of color with one lone tree at the top. The sky was cobalt blue and the moon was yellow/gold. Affixed to the tree with a nail was a set of wings, implying that anyone could try them on for size (become an angel on Earth).
Before painting this, I texturized the canvas to give more depth.
